We are a God-fearing small-town family business trying to bring people some good BBQ! What started out as a backyard hobby of entertaining friends and family, quickly turned into a full-time obsession and business venture to bring as many people as possible our style of Texas BBQ. We don't claim to have the best BBQ in Texas, but we do promise to give every one of our customers our very best every time we fire up the pit! Deep South BBQ was started back in 2020 under the care of Mr. Monte & his wife Belinda in Rio Vista Texas. After growing it into a successful BBQ business they sold it to Chet and Amanda Mears in Meridian Texas in 2025 so that they could enjoy the retired life. Since then, we have added a more locations and expanded the catering side of the business and can't wait to see where God takes us from here!
